The EnviroScan soil moisture temperature profile system uses the FDR measurement principle to determine the moisture content of different soil layers. The number of sensors (i.e. measurement depth) can be configured according to user needs, with sensor spacing of 10cm or multiples of 10cm. Users only need to determine the measurement depth. Through data analysis software, the root range of crops can be determined, and irrigation can be guided according to different growth stages of crops. Through data analysis software, one can also understand the field water holding capacity, water stress points, daily transpiration dynamics of crops, and monitor soil freezing conditions.
　　There are two models of EnviroScan probes to choose from: flat cap probes and screw cap probes. Each probe can connect up to 16 sensors, each with a fixed address. The data collector can clearly distinguish the moisture content values of different soil layers. At present, EnviroScan probes are widely used worldwide, with a detection depth of up to 40 meters. Deep measurement is mainly applied in the field of industrial mining.
　　EnviroScan is easy to install, typically using standard soil samplers and Sentek specialized tools, without damaging soil structure, and suitable for a variety of soil types. EnviroScan can be used with many software programs, and the measured data can be displayed on other software programs or on Sentek's irrigation timing software.
